Civil Engineer

Must be a certified Engineer Intern or licensed Professional Engineer with experience in drainage, site development, roadway, utility design, construction administration, and other public works projects.  

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering

  • 5-10 years of experience preferred

  • Experience in preparing plans and specifications for construction

  • Must possess excellent project management, communication, and organization skills

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or MicroStation, OpenRoads, and/or InRoads is a plus

CAD Technician/ Technologist

This position will work with close guidance and supervision on tasks for large and small projects in a team environment on a variety of infrastructure projects including roadways, bridges, levees, floodwalls, pump stations, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete assigned tasks including 2D and 3D model development, completing design changes, general plan production, redlining, plotting, and drafting using CAD/BIM platforms noted below.

  • Work closely with engineers and senior designers on assigned projects.

  • Perform other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree or technical school diploma/certificate in a related program preferred.

  • Minimum of 2-5 years of related work experience; or an equivalent combination of education and related experience. 

  • Demonstrates ability to understand and maintain CAD/BIM standards.

  • Takes initiative on tasks and in coordinating with team members and other discipline.

  • Working knowledge of software programs including Autodesk and Bentley products including, but not limited to AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, Infraworks, Navisworks, Microstation, Openroads, Microstation Buildings Designer.

  • Proficient with Microsoft (MS) Office Suite and BlueBeam.

  • Working knowledge of basic engineering calculations.

  • Experience with mechanical systems and structural design.

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.

  • Able to work under and meet tight deadlines.

  • Strong organizational skills, along with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.

  • Demonstrates a flexible approach to work assignments.
